the criteria with how our handmade leather shoes are applied are the fundamentals of having a qualitative classification of a shoe. the following are the description of three types of techniques constructions that we use to realize our exclusive handmade men’s shoes:
blak rapida
one of the rarest and most difficult constructions made still today only by few qualified craftsmen experts. it foresees the initial sewing of the insole, upper and cover of the first sole. finishing this procedure, the ‘guardolo’ is stitched to the sole. finally, the expert artisan completes the construction of the shoes with the milling, filling and coloration. the result is a shoe of absolute characterized quality of an incomparable elegance and refinement, able to last for many years.
goodyear welted
foresees the sewing of the leather lateral at the footbed insole with the upper, having a thickness equivalent to almost 3mm, in order to fix together the upper and cover. once this procedure has finished the lateral is hand-stitched to the sole, the gap between sole and sock liner (insole) is filled with a midsole and finally the heel is applied. once the first phase of the goodyear shoes construction is completed, our master shoemakers proceed to the milling of the sole and heel, to the filling and coloration. thanks to this long and difficult construction that needs enormous manual capabilities and precision, the final result of this handmade shoes are characterized for it comfort, long-lasting and equilibrium.
norwegian welt
the norwegian technique implies a rather complex hand sewing that interests the sock liner (insole - footbed), upper and cover. this stitch is visible, most of the time in the typical braid realization on the whole sole perimeter. it has the same durability, strength and comfort result of the goodyear and blak rapid welt and adds and extremely particular esthetic effect.
the milling of the sole
our italian master shoemakers make three different type of sole milling: traditional, double and the ‘bombe’. every milling is manually made following the design of the shoe.
the manual finishing
the coloring of our cinziacelentano men shoes made italy is an exclusive handmade construction, either in the case of plain coloring or shadow and grainy effect coloring. in the case of shadow grainy effect coloring, every pair of shoes is different from the other as well as the handmade finishing details giving all cinziacelentano men shoes a suggestive and fascinating effect.
